It is irritating, really. When people say “I trust you on this” right after they give you a task. I mean, Sir, do you really have to euphem-ized that you actually don’t trust me, that you’re doubting I won’t work on it?

And I usually like to prove people wrong. End result: You should have not trusted me. Which seems to be more of a self-destruction rather than opponent’s defeat.

Maybe, you’re just trying to put an exclamation point on how important it is. I hope so..
